Comments: The changes herein are intended for early implementation, ie, January, 2009, and are subject to the usual circulation policies and processes.
[MED 530 was circulated for approval on September 24, 2008. On October 22, 2008 a proposal to change MED 530 to MED 574 was re-circulated for approval. On January 6, 2009 a proposal to make further changes to MED 574 was re-circulated.
On January 9, 2009 the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry withdrew the January 6, 2009 proposed changes to MED 530 and MED 574. This posting reflects the deletion of MED 530 superceding the circular of October 22, and introduces MED 574 as a new course.
The changes are intended for implementation January 2009 and are subject to the usual circulation policies and processes.]
The attached submission contains descriptions of course and/or program changes recently approved by the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry. In accordance with Section 37 of the GFC Policy Manual, this material is posted here for information and/or challenge. Please note that the challenge procedure will only apply to:
- offering of new courses;
- dropping of existing courses;
- changes to the content of existing courses which alter the nature of the course;
- changes in prerequisites options and weights; and,
- changes to existing programs.
