Comments:

The Faculty of Engineering submitted calendar changes to the Petroleum Engineering program and requested deletion of courses (PET E 362, 367, 368, 473, 488 and 489). The courses were posted for deletion on June 30, 2008 and were approved for deletion on July 22, 2008. The courses are still needed during the transition period while current students work their way through the existing program. The Faculty of Engineering is requesting that the courses be reinstated. The changes noted herein are intended for 2009/2010 and are subject to the usual circulation policies and process.

 
The attached submission contains descriptions of course and/or program changes recently approved by the Faculty of Engineering. In accordance with Section 37 of the GFC Policy Manual, this material is posted here for information and/or challenge. Please note that the challenge procedure will only apply to:
  1. offering of new courses;
  2. dropping of existing courses;
  3. changes to the content of existing courses which alter the nature of the course;
  4. changes in prerequisites options and weights; and,
  5. changes to existing programs.
Should you wish to challenge any of the course and/or program changes in the attached submission, please take careful note of the above dates.
